Match summary
A solid start (Arsal/Asala), a gutsy, determined middle (Ajeet/Erika) and early summer fireworks end (Arthur/Atiq) gave Sharkies a great 233 off 40 overs. Supreme swing bowling (Adi/Arthur) and spectacular fielding (Asala/Arjun) floored the Titans but it took us a while to finish them off. But we did!
Notable performances
Dogged 45 by Ajeet. Explosive Atiq/Arthur knocks. Swing kings Adi and Arthur (2 wickets each) took out the top order. Three timely wickets from Atiq. Some good all-round performances.
Notable events
Catch magnet Asala held two identical bullets at gully. Arjun’s unbelievable gravity/physics defying high overhead catch at square leg – one hand. Some great boundary stops and chases from many players, including Erika, Arjun, Asala, Adi.
