After the 1st XI’s solid victory, new Captain Neel lead his brigade of youths and crumbling geriatrics to a fine victory over a sparky Sano 2nd XI. A big knock from Davo backed up with quality bowling, catching and keeping saw us over the line with 92 runs to spare. Great start Sharkies! [Anton]
The 1st XI are on fire! It was crash, bang and wallop at Sano 3 as Sharks boundaries and Paddy wickets came in flurries on Saturday. A ton for the Captain backed up by a valiant crew, with all 3 on debut performing well too. A perfect start? Well….yes. [Anton]

As the club is now deep into its second decade of existence, the Honours boards have required a bit of expansion to accommodate the 2017 winners and all of the other previous winners, as well as create a bit of room for the next few years too. Both JCL 1 and 2 were good, testing competitions for us this year. We played very well on occasion and not so well at other times but both XIs grew in experience and in match sense through the 2017 season which was again, dotted with some great moments of individual skill. Otsukare Sharks!! [Anton]
