Come and watch some of Japan’s best cricketers play in the Chiba Cup! Created as an opportunity to showcase the sport of cricket in Chiba, the Chiba Sharks will play two Twenty20 matches, the inaugural Chiba Cup match and an exhibition match, against the Japan All-Stars at Togane Arena in Togane City on Saturday 9th October 2010. The Chiba Sharks are dedicated to promoting the sport of cricket and finding venues for hosting matches in Chiba Prefecture. With the support of Togane City and the staff of Togane Arena and the assistance of the Japan Cricket Association, Takayuki Morimoto and other fellow Sharks have negotiated with the local authorities and carried out necessary preparations to make this event a reality.
